I had a fantastic stay at a charming aparthotel in the heart of a picturesque city center. The two-bedroom flat was excellent, and the breakfast provided everything I desired. The location was perfect, right in the middle of historic archways. The staff even offered me a bottle of prosecco when I couldn't find one nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful appartment in a stunning village. The staff has very good suggestions for what to do in the surrounding Gran Sasso park and for restaurants.

the silence in the village
it was rather cold inside. we were there on a hot day, but the sittingroom downstairs is built in a cellar

A very comfortable stay with bedroom upstairs and fully equipped kitchen/dining area on the bottom floor in a beautfiully restored stone house. Lovely old village to explore with arches, flowers everywhere and little shops -- lots of atmosphere. The staff was great. We visited the nearby castle, wtih panoramic views of the area. Very good restaurants within walking distance.
The internet did not work at this place, despite many attempts. The reception is quite a distance from the apartment, and we walked back and forth several times trying to get the internet problem solved before we finally gave up. Other than that it was great!

Everything - I planned to stay 3 days but prolonged my stay to 5. The apartment was clean, spacy, heating working well, quiet, kitchen well equiped. Staff was really friendly (they speak english), provided me tourist information proactively. They cleaned apartment everyday and everyday they filled in the breakfast basket which was really huge. Given the price, I expected much lower quality. I payed 40% more 1 week ago for the same type of accommodation having much worse quality and unpleasant staff. Highly recommended.
Gps will take you to the parking place. There are no signs to the hotel. But just walk in in the centre of the village and you will see the signs there. Cca 100-150m from the parking place.

Santo Stefano di Sessanio is a beautiful little town high in the Abruzzi Mountains, and this apartment/hotel was a delight to stay in. The young man at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful; he walked down to a restaurant to make reservations for us when their phone was not working, then walked us to the restaurant to ensure we could find it. The apartment was charming, cozy, and comfortable. We had a very good dinner at the nearby (5-min. walk) restaurant called "Tra i bracci di Morfeo" (or something close to that!). The town is a pleasure to walk around in, and fascinating, with a likeness of a Medici (they owned much of it at one time) on one gate and parts of the town dating from the 13th century.
